Established in 1966, It is located in the mountainous commune of Alagni (440 metres above sea-level), south of the city of Heraklion, in Crete. The well-preserved 14th-century stone-presses in the fields around the winery are testament to the area’s long history of grape-growing and winemaking.
This is a lovely lower alcohol white wine that normally comes in at around 11.5%
Tasting Note:
Made using the unusual Roditis (85%) and more well know Muscat (15%) this dry white wine from the sub-mountainous Achaia region of Greece has an elegant and balanced flavour with a lovely citrus fruit nose.
Food Matches:
Avocado and prawn salad or grilled chicken.
