The 2025 Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc is one of the most unique, extroverted whites in Bordeaux. Baked apple tart, candied ginger, pear and buttery Chassagne-like overtones blossom, conveying tons of nuance and character. This is impeccably done.

Flinty gunsmoke reduction, campfire and cold ash, rich apricot and papaya, crab apple, liquorice root and slate. Large oak casks for ageing. High aromatics but on the palate the balance is clear. 3.23 pH. Harvest August 6 to September 3. 80% new oak. Christine and Philippe Gervoson.

Medium- to full-bodied, with a foot on the fuller end of the spectrum. Textured but with a linear thread of acidity that makes it a joy to taste. Brilliant wine, with a combination of reduction and texture. Very salty on the finish.
