Mount Gay Eclipse, named after the 1910 total solar eclipse visible in Barbados, is a blend of rums distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, then matured in American whiskey casks. Eclipse embodies Mount Gay rums’ style: fresh vanilla, sweet almond, ripe banana and mocha.
It makes an iconic Rum Punch or can be enjoyed with your favourite mixer.
Nose: The nose is full and rounded with notes of fresh flowers and honey, a little vanilla and tropical fruit.
Palate: Distinctive notes of vanilla and banana with underlying notes of caramel, summer fruit and spice.
Finish: Long and spiced with toasty oak.
