Coto de Imaz Selección Viñedos is the result of a selection of the best Tempranillo and Graciano vines owned by the winery in Rioja Alavesa and the wonderful Finca Los Almendros in Rioja Oriental. With 18 months ageing in wood and a further two years in the bottle, it is a complex and elegant wine with delicious notes of ripe fruit and toasted notes from its time in oak. An excellent example of the know-how of this classic Rioja winery.
Tasting Note:
This is a Tempranillo red wine with an intense ruby colour, with slightly brick edges. In addition, aromas of sweet spices, cocoa and ripe fruit are appreciated, which give it complexity. In the mouth it has a meaty texture and great persistence, very pleasant and balanced.
Food Pairing: This Rioja Reserva red wine is ideal to accompany roast lamb, game or red meat.
